Endoscopy Center

Our Endoscopy Center is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery.

We have a state-of-the-art, fully equipped endoscopy center, which allows us to perform colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures in the comfort and convenience of our own office. Your anesthesia is administered by a board certified anesthesiologist. If we recommend an endoscopy and/or colonoscopy, you will be fully briefed as to how to prepare and what to expect before, during and after the procedure. Endoscopy is a procedure that allows the doctor to look at the interior lining of your esophagus, stomach and the first part of your small intestine. The entire upper gastrointestinal tract can be examined during this test.

Upper Endoscopy/ERCP

Upper Endoscopy also called esophagogastroduodenoscopy, or EGD, uses a thin scope with a light and camera at its tip to look inside of the upper digestive tract -- the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine. The endoscope allows the doctor to look for ulcers, inflammation, tumors, infection or bleeding. Tissue samples can be obtained, and bleeding can be treated through the endoscope. We perform Endoscopy procedures in our office or in the hospital.

Capsule Endoscopy

Capsule Endoscopy is a wireless capsule, about the size of a grape, which is swallowed by the patient. As the capsule travels through the digestive tract, it transmits high-quality images to a video monitor, allowing doctors to see and diagnose obscure digestive tract disorders.
